Grandma and Grandpa came up to see me and take care of me while mommy and daddy went to work the last few days of the week. We had so much fun. We went on a walk, worked in the yard AND did my most favorite thing…PLAAAAY DRESS UP! We talked, laughed and giggled (and sometimes cried and fussed). Lots of things happened while they were here…I was sick: Just a little bit of a head cold that made me kind of congested which made me not so happy sometimes. Especially, when I had to have the bulb suction shoved up my nose!
EATING:…I decided that I needed MUCH more food than what was in my bottles, so after grandma would give me a bottle I would cry and cry until mom figured out that I might still be hungry…AND I was (on multiple occasions)!
THUMB SUCKING: Over the last week, I've found my hand and sometime my thumb. Over the last few days I have really liked sucking on my thumb. It is taking some getting used to, because somehow I gag myself when I stick my fingers/thumb in my mouth...but I'm pretty persistent, so I just keep trying. In the last few days I've gotten pretty good at sucking my thumb. I don't do it very often, yet. I get this from my mom :-)
SLEEPING: I started sleeping through the night! I slept 3 nights in a row from about 11:30 to 5:30 in the morning! Mom and Dad are LOVING this…I might throw them a curve ball and stop doing this, though. I just think that might be funny :-). I also started taking naps in my CRIB! First time I’ve ever slept in my gorgeous room. It was nice, but I think I still want to be in mom and dad’s room at night :-).
TALKING: I had so much to say. I would sit in grandma’s lap and tell her EVERYTHING I was thinking! We would laugh and giggle too. I would sit in my bouncy seat on the desk while grandpa was on the computer and he and I would just talk about things goin’ on in the world. He would talk and then he would let me have “my turn”. He would also talk with his hand…which I just loved!
DRESS UP: Grandma put me in the most cutest outfit…it mad me look like a tennis player. All I needed was a racket…oh yeah, and to learn how to walk.
I gotta run. My cold is going away so I have so much to do, so much to say, so much to figure out that I better get goin’ if I’m going to get it all done. :-)
