Last night Chloe was in our room and gave Kelly a very weird and unfamiliar look. Kelly went to pick her up and then Chloe’s mouth was similar to a broken fire hydrant except the fluid coming out of her mouth was strawberry red stained. She did it again when we were giving her some crackers in her high chair. She gave the same ‘uh oh’ look so I went to get her and put her over the sink but we were a second too slow so the kitchen floor and cabinets got hit. I was home so we kept Chloe at our house but took Trey to daycare so he wouldn’t catch anything from Chloe. To say that Chloe loves Trey would be a large understatement. She’s either hugging, kissing, trying to hold him, etc. all the time. She is fine now except her appetite hasn’t quite come back yet.
Last night we kind of thought Trey said ‘bye bye’ but didn’t think much of it. Today when I picked him up from day care, Cindy thought he was saying it. I was telling Kelly how Cindy thought he was saying ‘bye bye’ and Trey starts saying ‘bye bye’ in his baby voice. Maybe we are hearing things or maybe he’s Doogie Howser, only time will tell.
The meteorologists were actually correct for once. Here is some video out or bedroom window from when the snow was coming down the heaviest.
Kelly actually had a lot to do for work today so Chloe and I were hanging out. Grandpa gave her a card that sings Santa Clause is Coming to Town and she loves it. She also enjoys wearing her reindeer antlers. Throw in the snow and we had a very Christmas-like dance going.
Bath time has not been as easy as it was before with Chloe. We think she knows that bath time leads to bed time. As a result, Kelly has been working on her ventriloquist skills to coax Chloe into the bath. She didn’t know I was taping her though…
